On May 3, 2011, Bertram Signs donated a custom vintage gold-leaf sign to the Carefree Fire Department. The sign has a routed edge painted black, a red background with a crackle varnish applied over it. Charcoal was rubbed into the cracks and then the signs was clearcoated again. The lettering is 23 karat Gold Leaf, with a hand painted border and shadow. The sign will proudly be displayed in the Carefree Fire Department.
